One simple—but frequently overlooked trick is learning how to roll away your tent door properly.

This small change can help prevent water pooling at the entrance during wet weather.

In this blog, we’ll walk you through our tent door rolling hack, and Mike shares his top tips to keep rainwater out and comfort in.

Step One

Start by positioning yourself inside the tent, facing the door. Unzip and pull open the door fabric, then fold each corner inward.

Step Two

Shape the fabric into a tidy ‘V’ and begin rolling it upwards toward the top of the tent. Keep the roll tight and even to avoid bunching.

Step Three

Once the door is fully rolled, secure it neatly using the toggles. This method keeps the roll high and tight—preventing it from acting like a gutter when it rains.
