The Kampa Mossborn 2 is built with a 75D polyester flysheet, a strong, tightly woven fabric designed to resist tearing and abrasion while remaining lightweight for easy transport. The polyester is naturally water-resistant and helps keep the interior dry in wet conditions, while also offering UV protection to reduce fading and material degradation from sunlight. The double-layer design works with the flysheet to improve ventilation, reduce condensation, and provide reliable all-weather protection.

The Mossborn’s pre-angled fibreglass poles are lightweight yet durable, giving the structure stability even on uneven or challenging terrain. Pole sleeves with reinforced mesh distribute tension evenly across the tent, preventing sagging and increasing longevity. The poles are flexible enough to absorb wind pressure while maintaining the tent’s shape, making pitching straightforward and reliable even for off-grid adventures.

This geometric tent includes two doors, one for entry and the other for storage. Doors can be zipped for privacy or rolled up and toggled for partial entry or to create a small front canopy. Roof vents and thoughtful positioning of the doors enhance airflow and ventilation, keeping the tent comfortable in warmer conditions.

The fully enclosed inner tent provides a cosy, private sleeping area with mesh panels on the doors for ventilation, top ventilation panels, and lantern hanging points in the centre. A bathtub-style groundsheet adds protection, and access doors at both ends allow easy entry and exit. Additional storage space and practical layout make it ideal for long trips or off-grid adventures.
