Vango has introduced their all new Mantis range for the 2025 season, providing lightweight travel bags designed for use in different climates.

Available in four models (Planet - 1 Season, 200 - 2 Season, 300 - 3 Season, and 400 - 4 Season) the Mantis sleeping bags are the latest innovation in Vango's trekking bags. Durable Polair® Active Eco recycled rip-stop nylon allows for a more compressible pack size while remaining breathable and water-resistant.

The genius behind these Mantis bags lies in Vango's unique ThermX design ethos, combining a proprietary construction method and lightweight insulation technology to focus the warmth where you need it most, and increase the overall warmth-to-weight ratio. Non-woven aluminised fabric layers are placed around focus areas in the bag to reflect body heat, increasing overall warmth and heat retention.

  • 2 Panel 3D hood shaped to prevent heat loss from the head for maximum warmth and comfort
  • Full Length Two-Way Auto-Lock Zip with Zip Guard - Used to seal in warmth or provide ventilation and can be used from inside the bag. Anti-catch piping helps to prevent the zip from snagging on the lining
  • Engineered for warmth, Omega shaping is ergonomically tailored around the head and shoulders. Zips and seams are placed in the lower section of the bag to retain warmth more effectively
  • Insulated Zip Baffle - Retains heat within the sleeping bag and reduces cold spots
  • Internal Pocket - Provides convenient storage for small items
  • A redesigned ergonomic footbox increases comfort whilst minimizing heat loss
  • 3-Strap compression stuffsack reduces overall pack weight without compromising on compressibility
  • Temperature Ratings Independently Measured - In accordance with EN 23537-1:2022. Extensively tested to meet accurate temperature rating standards for peace of mind
